Wimborne again failed to take advantage of another slip by Poole after the Dolphins suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at lowly Brading thanks to Richard Sprooles’s disputed second-half goal. Poole followers and boss Tom Killick were convinced Sprooles’s strike had not crossed the line, while Brading secretary Bob Blezzard begged to differ. Killick said: “We had an Internet television company with us and their camera was at that end. The footage shows the ball clearly didn’t cross the line but that’s the way it’s going for us at the moment.” However, Blezzard said: “Nobody could have been closer than me and I can categorically say the ball crossed the line."
